Pelvic Floor Therapy at Luna Wellness
Bringing our attention and curiosity, we work the pelvic floor to relieve congestion in the pelvic bowl that can restore balance on both a physical and energetic level.
At Luna Wellness, this work is approached with deep respect, curiosity, education, and consent. Sessions are slow-paced, supportive, and tailored to your comfort level. There is never pressure to receive internal work, and every session is collaborative.
Whether you are navigating postpartum healing, pelvic tension, bladder concerns, scar tissue, pain, numbness, disconnection, or simply wanting to better understand your body, this work creates space to listen rather than force change.
“You could tell Janelle took her time and really made sure I was comfortable to move forward. ”
What is Pelvic Floor Therapy?
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles, fascia, nerves, and connective tissues that support the bladder, bowel, reproductive organs, posture, breathing, and nervous system regulation.
Stress, pregnancy, birth, surgery, injury, trauma, chronic clenching, and even emotional experiences can impact how this area feels and functions.
Sessions may include:
External bodywork around the pelvis, hips, abdomen, sacrum, inner thighs, and vulva
Gentle nervous system regulation techniques
Breath and awareness practices
Scar tissue support
Internal vaginal pelvic floor work (optional and consent-based)
Internal work allows access to deeper pelvic floor muscles through the vaginal canal and may help with tension patterns, mobility, awareness, and pain reduction.
Every session begins with conversation, education, and informed consent.
