Rest & Restore with us
CHECK OUT OUR SERVICES
Luna Wellness started as a one-practitioner chiropractic office in 2013 to see prenatal and postpartum mamas.
Over ten years later, it has flourished into offering chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture as a staple of Portland’s community. It continues to provide excellent care during some of a woman’s most extraordinary transitions and moments in life.
All too often, mothers lose touch with themselves- they suffer quietly and alone- sometimes depressed, stuck, & exhausted. It’s time to put aside the mom guilt! Making time for yourself and refilling your cup will only fuel you even more to do all the things a mama needs to do.. which we KNOW is a lot!
We offer nurturing bodywork, products to use at home, and an ECOSYSTEM of FIERCE, feminist support to assist in the never-ending process of giving yourself time to get some self-care in.
LUNA is a place to heal yourself, Find deep restoration, support within the community, and a moment to recharge, so you can continue to be the best version of you not only for the people you love in your life but also for yourself.
We aim to provide bodywork, a safe space for deep relaxation, events, and services that we believe center around a person’s ability to become connected, grounded, and balanced with what is needed during the various parts of life. As humans, we change, adapt, and grow- yet stay consistent and learn to keep moving forward.
Celebration when you start your cycle for the first time.
Looking to conceive and taking care of your body during pregnancy and postpartum. (We offer the best prenatal massage in town!)
What may happen as menopause sets in and all the moments in between.
MEET the PRACTITIONERS
Janelle Grizzard, LMT
MASSAGE THERAPIST
-
Janelle is the current owner of Luna Wellness and a Licensed Massage therapist with almost 15 years of practice. A lifelong student of mindful movement and living life as present as possible, she brings a nurturing flow to her sessions. Encouraging clients and people she meets to find joy in the smallest parts of life. She loves when someone comes onto the table and is seeking a moment to care for themselves, aiming to become calm, rested, and pain-free.
Hannah Fazendin, LMT
MASSAGE THERAPIST
-
Hannah Fazendin, LMT is a licensed massage therapist with advanced training in craniosacral therapy and a specialty in myofascial release. Her approach is slow, listening-based, and deeply attuned to the nervous system—meeting each client right where they are, in both body and mind.
Hannah’s sessions are intentionally grounded, sometimes literally: she offers massage on the floor when it best supports nervous system regulation, especially for clients dealing with trauma or sensory overwhelm. Her style is gentle but powerful, using long holds and intentional pacing to create broad shifts in the body while honoring the pace of the nervous system.
Having navigated her own journey with complex PTSD, Hannah brings personal insight into the connection between physical tension and emotional experiences—a connection she sees especially clearly in her work with pregnant and postpartum clients. She believes healing isn’t linear—it’s a constant, layered process that requires presence, patience, and deep listening.
Outside of the clinic, Hannah finds joy in long walks with her dog, Mr. Rogers, reading Pacific Northwest authors like David James Duncan, and tending to her inner world with yoga, meditation, and a diverse team of healing practitioners. Before entering the bodywork world, she was a florist for ten years—a nod to her natural eye for beauty, texture, and the unseen.
Amanda Leggett, LMT
MASSAGE THERAPIST
-
Amanda Leggett graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2016 and has 6 years of professional massage experience. She offers massage for relaxation as well as massage that targets specific areas of the body with the goal of decreasing pain and/or assisting with healing. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and this allows her unique insights into the movement patterns and functional strength of her clients. She uses Swedish, deep tissue, assisted stretching, and contract-relax techniques to help people get the most out of their massage.
She greatly appreciates that massage helps people slow down and experience their bodies in ways that can be difficult to access in everyday life. Massage is an awesome addition to any wellness plan - it can decrease pain, increase mobility, and help the body flush out toxins. These benefits help us to do more of the things we most enjoy.Hannah’s sessions are intentionally grounded, sometimes literally: she offers massage on the floor when it best supports nervous system regulation, especially for clients dealing with trauma or sensory overwhelm. Rachel Torres
MASSAGE THERAPIST & ACUPUNCTURIST
-
Rachel Torres, LAc, LMT, is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist with over five years of experience supporting clients through all stages of life—particularly pregnancy, postpartum, and reproductive transitions. While trained and certified in both Eastern and Western bodywork, Rachel’s deepest passion lies in acupuncture as a pathway for holistic healing.
Her sessions blend calm, intuitive care with techniques like Shiatsu, acupressure, prenatal massage, cupping, and deep tissue work. Clients often describe her touch as grounding and her presence as quietly powerful. She approaches every treatment with a whole-body lens—supporting not just physical relief, but emotional and energetic balance as well.
Rachel has special interest in cycle health, fertility, menopause support, and mental-emotional wellness, and is currently expanding her training in Maya abdominal massage for reproductive health. Her work is deeply informed by her Mexican heritage and a lineage of women healers, including her great-grandmother, whose traditions continue to inspire her practice today.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Rachel soaking up the sun in a Portland park, sketchbook in hand or tucked into a hammock with a good book. She brings this same sense of calm and care into every session she offers.
